About misspend

Misspend was thrown together to allow its creator to keep track of his finances. He wanted something that he could access from anywhere, anytime and from any device in order to capture his spending habits.

Misspend is made possible with Google's AppEngine, jQuery, and other libraries such as the jQuery Mousewheel handler by Brandon Aaron and TimeEntry by Keith Wood.

Development Phases

In the early alpha and beta development phases you can expect to see the fleshing out of features such as reports and RSS feeds as well as a full featured developer API. The ability to keep track of multiple budgets as well as shared budgets will also be built into the system. However we view the ability to track and even share multiple budgets as adding significant value and as such we will seek to monetize them.

Due to the early development phase we are in it is possible that other limitations on use may arise. These may include storage constraints as well as usage limits. We thank you for your understanding.
